| Members of the International Programs Department and the Education Department at Development and Peace are meeting with partners from seven Latin American countries to discuss natural resources. The objective is to analyse, from a gender perspective, their experiences of resistance as well as the alternative models of development they propose.
The assembly will take place April 28-30 in Quito, Ecuador and will include participants from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Brazil.
Over the last year, Development and Peace partners in Latin America have worked on systematizing their experiences, in order to be more effective in their individual work and in order to better develop joint actions. They will share their reports during the meeting and examine common issues, such as agro-fuels and food sovereignty. |
