| Peasants have more resources |

ITECA, a Haitian NGO which provides support to peasant organisations in their work for social change:

• Obtained that 1,000 peasants from three communities access inputs at a subsidized price. |
 |
|
• Set up 10 agricultural nurseries with a total production of 23,770 seedlings, benefiting 1,053 peasants. |
 |
|
Indigenous groups are involved in their government |
|
ACOICAPEP, whose mission is to promote and defend the political, social, economic and cultural rights of the indigenous peoples of Guatemala: |

|
• Trained participants from 35 different community development councils in municipal affairs. |
 |
|
• Pressured municipal authorities to take into account community development council demands related to the municipal budget and the management of drinking water. |
 |
|
Racial and gender discrimination decreases |
|
CNOA, an organization of Afro-Colombian groups across Colombia: |

|
• Trained 400 police officers on racial discrimination in Bogotá. |
 |
|
• Educated Colombians on a bill aimed at preventing violations of women’s rights and allowing Afro-Colombian women’s groups to advise the government on women’s rights.
