INSAN, an Iraqi organization promoting human rights and peacebuilding:

• Created a multicultural cooperative to sell fruits and vegetables in Kirkuk. |
|
|
• Funded training and the purchase of medical equipment at Al Bittar Hospital in Baghdad so that essential open-heart surgeries could take place. |

Men and women of different cultures advocate for peace |

The Forum for Development, Culture and Dialogue, an organization based in Beirut but working in several countries in the Middle East: |

|
• Trained 25 Lebanese, Iraqi and Palestinian young journalists on pro-peace communications and dealing with intimidation. |
|
|
• Organized a week-long workshop for 16 men and 16 women from Iraq and Lebanon on peacebuilding and collaboration. |
