| DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE is a member the International Civil Liberties Monitoring Group (ICLMG), a coalition working to protect individual freedoms, democratic values and civil liberties in Canada. Its membership includes international development and humanitarian non-governmental organizations (NGOs), church groups, unions, environmental groups, human and civil rights advocates, as well as other faith groups and associations representing immigrant and refugee communities in Canada.
The ICLMG recently published its response to Justice Canada's 1st annual report on the application of Canada's Anti-Terrorism Act (Bill-C-36). The ICLMG document is titled "In the Shadow of the Law."
