So our Executive Director, Serge Langlois, called the festive celebration of the closing of the Jubilee year while addressing some 200 people gathered at Notre-Dame College in Montreal on Saturday November 25. It was a reunion of National Council members, former employees, current employees and friends of Development and Peace. A few words from different actors of the past 50 years, a dance performed by a few youth members, all the pieces of the quilt gathered in one place, but especially lively conversations with the music of Just Woân and his quartet: we had all the ingredients to live a magical evening that will remain engraved in organizational memory ... for the next 50 years!
As for me, I would like to emphasize the work of the small team of colleagues who supported me in the creation and realization of this beautiful moment. And to thank my readers for following me on this adventure of the Jubilee Year. I had a lot of fun living it and trying to pass on to you the emotion of the events related here. I would like to leave you with this final word that I hope will be inspiring: Long live Development and Peace!
