Bishops support Canadian Catholic organizations’ fundraising for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria

The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) has issued a press release that supports the emergency aid campaign launched by four Canadian Catholic organizations, including Development and Peace ― Caritas Canada, in response to the devastating earthquake that struck Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria on Monday, February 6, 2023.

The CCCB calls local bishops to promote the campaign in their dioceses/eparchies “and to invite their faithful to donate….”
