Stamp collecting, also known as philately, is a hobby that can also express international solidarity. So once again this year, Development and Peace is organizing a used-stamp fundraising sale to finance projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

On Saturday March 29, 2014, thousands of used stamps from the world over will be put on sale, from 9 am to 3 pm in the basement of Marie-Reine-des-Cœurs parish, 5905 rue Turenne, Montreal (use the parking lot entrance on rue Bossuet), Cadillac metro.

For a very low price, you’ll be able to obtain recent hard-to-find used stamps from a number of countries of the Global South.

To donate stamps to Development and Peace, to organize a stamp-collecting initiative in your community, to find out about activities for collectors, or to learn more about the activity itself, please feel free to contact the national headquarters of Development and Peace in Montreal, at 514-257-8711. You can also call toll free at 1-888-234-8533.

Please share this invitation with all the philatelists you know!
