In solidarity with human rights and land defenders, and to ensure that human rights and the environment are respected in the Global South,

• Over 28,000 Canadians signed a petition calling for due diligence legislation for Canadian companies operating abroad.
  
  
• 43 Members of Parliament were met with and several presented the petition in the House of Commons.
