Fundraising Campaigns

First-time donor’s super credit

This new tax credit will increase the value of the federal charitable donations tax credit (CDTC) by 25 percentage points if neither the taxpayer nor their spouse has claimed the CDTC since 2007. The super credit will apply on up to $1,000 in cash donations in any one taxation year between 2013 and 2017.
