Online Petition

We are calling on the Canadian government to increase the budget for overseas development aid to ensure that it can invest sufficiently in women’s grassroots organizations working for peace in their countries. After signing the petition, please share it on Facebook and Twitter.

Take part in our social media action

On September 21st, International Peace Day, we will be launching a social media action, where you can show your support for our campaign.

Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Download and print our campaign poster:

  2. Take a photo of yourself with our poster and making a peace sign ->
  3. Post the picture on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tag 5 friends, challenging them to do the same.
  4. Invite people to sign our online petition at
  5. Tag Prime Minister Trudeau, (@JustinTrudeau or @CanadianPM), the Minister of International Development and La Francophonie, Marie-Claude Bibeau (@mclaudebibeau or @CanadaDev), or your MP.
  6. Make a photobooth at an event where people can take their photo with our poster and post it right away on Facebook or Twitter!
