Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of the Department and under the coordination of the Administrative and Budgetary Oversight Officer, the Administrative and Financial Monitoring Technician is responsible for ensuring the administrative and financial monitoring of the International Programs Department’s projects and providing the necessary support for the successful conduct of the Department’s activities.

Requirements

Academic background
• DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in accounting, office technology, administration or the equivalent

Languages
• Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of written Spanish
• Functional Portuguese (an asset)

Software and computer programs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Teams
• Knowledge of a database program

Experience
• Three years relevant experience in administrative and financial monitoring

Specific knowledge
• Sensitivity to political and socioeconomic realities, as well as international development issues
• Knowledge of the Church and its engagements in social justice matters

Availability
• Available to work occasional weekends

Working conditions

• 35-hours per week/ Possibility of teleworking (hybrid mode)
