A packed calendar!

There is no shortage of activities during Share Lent this year!

Members of Development and Peace have mobilized across the country to organize activities in their regions so that their communities can show their solidarity with those in the Global South, who struggle daily for greater human dignity.

Several potluck dinners, conferences and events are scheduled for the coming weeks.

We currently have several solidarity visitors touring across the country. Mr. Mam Sambath, Director General of Development and Partnership in Action (DPA) in Cambodia, is visiting New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, while Mrs. Partawmina Hashemee, founding member of the Afghan Women’s Resource Centre (AWRC) in Afghanistan, is touring Saskatchewan.

For more information about our solidarity visitors from the Global South and the partners showcased in this year’s Share Lent campaign, visit our Partners & Visitors page.

Check our calendar regularly to be up-to-date on all the activities happening across the country during Lent!
