Mix them together and you have the Development and Peace Good Friday Fast – an online effort to cook up support for our mission of building a better world. The fast happens this Friday, March 29th!

Catholics fast on Good Friday in observance of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Today the poor and oppressed continue to be crucified, including nearly one billion of our brothers and sisters for whom hunger is not a choice.
Yet we also fast in hope of the Resurrection that we know will come on Easter Sunday.
Development and Peace supports over 90 different groups in 20 countries around the world who share that hope – the hope that death does not have the final word but that life, goodness, justice and peace are our common destiny.
